Chances For Children 2012 with ING Vysya Foundation

Every year, ING Vysya Foundation, under its flagship programme, ‘ING Chances for Children’ holds its Annual Volunteering Initiative of ‘education-through-fun’ every year, where the employees participate in an event organized for the less privileged children.
This year we conducted the event with the children of our Early Childhood Development & Supportive Education Programme at the National Rail Museum situated in New Delhi on the 24th of November, 2012. The students had come all prepared to know about our railway industry. Amidst all the curiosity and excitement, what also made their day was the presence of the ING Vysya employees who had come to spend time with the children and showed their participation with full zeal.
The children were given a warm welcome and an introduction to the Aurobindo Chaudhuri Memorial Great Indian Dream Foundation was given to the ING Vysya volunteers by Ms. Donita. After which the children were taken on a tour inside the museum along with a guide and were left awestruck just by looking at the models placed in there. Not only this, they also got to enjoy the exhilarating experience of the toy train and were accompanied by their teachers & the ING volunteers too.
Once the ride was over they were taken to the playing zone where they enjoyed playing on the slides and swings. After that they were provided with the refreshments in the park and then they were settled back to the buses to call off the day.
